The journey to becoming one of the best Wedding DJs in Leicester began back in 2007 when Jack DJ’d his first wedding. After enjoying many years DJing as a hobby we officially created Jackstar in 2010. We decided to specialise in weddings as we found that our style and attitude were the perfect fit for such special occasions. Our aim is, and has always been, to provide a high quality and personal service.
We didn’t fit the typical standard of a DJ company and this is what helped us to stand out. We understood that brides and grooms cared about the way things looked and so the appearance of our DJ equipment has always been important to us. Creating a clean and tidy finish rather than messy and over complicated!
Our couples have always liked that we are a family run business and we can assure you that everything we have goes into what we do.
Towards the end of 2012 Jack finally proposed to Louise (she’d only been waiting 9 years!). Planning our own wedding opened our eyes to what our couples are going through and helped us to make sure we do everything we can to help. After marrying in 2013 we knew that we wanted to recreate the magic of our own wedding day over and over. This has always been our benchmark in terms of quality, everything we do for our couples needs to meet the standards of what we would have ourselves!
Our aim is to remove as much stress from the wedding planning process as possible. One of the ways we do this is to provide a whole range of services in one place saving you from dealing with multiple suppliers. We will also deal directly with your venue and other suppliers, where required, both before and during your day. The office team are always at the end of the phone or an email to help in any way they can and not just in relation to our own services!

Our DJ services are known for their flexibility, experience and reliability. We have worked with hundreds of couples throughout Leicester, Nottingham, Derby and further afield.
It’s important that your special day is surrounded by the best in music – we listen to you and are happy to tailor the music to your guests taste. We want to make sure that you have the decision on what music you’d like (and what you don’t).
You won’t need to worry about the equipment as it’s elegantly styled to fit into any venue. The amount of sound and lighting equipment will be accommodated to your venue and number of guests, leave it to us.

What does an All Day Wedding DJ do?
Imagine your perfect wedding ceremony accompanied by a soundtrack of love and romance all taken care of by our talented DJ team.
Following the ceremony, as your guests are sipping cocktails on the terrace (weather permitting!) our curated DJ set will work its magic in creating the right mood to help your guests soak up the atmosphere.
When the time is right for food we’ll setup the right beat. Whether thats foot tappers, something to get them dancing in their seats or simply elegant and romatic it’s up to you.
What happens between the wedding breakfast and evening reception? Don’t fret we’ve got your back there too. Our music will continue as your guests prepare themselves for the evenings festivities. We’ll make sure to keep the energy level right and the spirits high in anticipation of what lies ahead.
Behind the scenes our team will be preparing the room ready for the the ultimate celebration. When your guests enter they’ll know its time to party!
Our DJ will work on building the energy of the room ready for the first dance. Invite your guests to join you part way through or go big with the next track to get everyone on the dance floor.
As the party continues we’ll use a mix of your favourite tracks, your guests requests and our own selection of tried and tested floor-fillers guaranteed to keep everyone moving all night.
When it comes to the final hour we’ll switch things up with a tailor made DJ set of your all time favourite hits building up to the big finish!
After the lights come on our wedding DJ will leave your guests wanting more and talking about how they didn’t want the party to end for years to come!
